Grabouw Area
The area of Grabouw between Somerset West and Swellendam will be a the next area where HOPE will establish HOPE community health worker.
Pilot Project II
On Saturday, 26th of November the Graduation Ceremony took place in Khayelitsha. Amongst the guests were King Koehabia (Koi), Chief Dr. Kutela as well as Prof. Philipp Kubukeli from the Traditional Health Practitioners Forum.
Pilot Project
On Monday, 10.10. the long awaited pilot project to foster the relationship between the traditional health practitioners and the Western medical staff commenced with a ritual at Tygerberg Academic Health Complex.
Durbanville
We welcome Tashwell September as our new employ taking on the post as the HOPE Community Health Care Worker in Phesante Kraal/Durbanville from the 1.12.2005
Artscape
The Artscape ensemble of "Show boat" performed a concert at the Nuernberg State Opera House to raise funds for HOPE. Dr. Susanne Reuther from the management committee was present during the performance which leads to standing ovations after an excellent performance before a sold out opera house.
Belhar
HOPE employed in Belhar the 18th HOPE community health worker.
German AIDS Foundation
The chairperson of HOPE attended the AGM of the German Aids Foundation in Germany and gave an overview about the roll out in the Western Cape.
Project Supervisor
HOPE will employ a project supervisor at the end of the year to oversee the day to day business of the organisation.
Ball of HOPE
The annual Ball of HOPE was a great success, bringing almost 300 people together celebrating life and at the same time supporting the project. Mrs. Viola Klein and Andreas Mönch (both Saxonia Dresden) as well as Mr. Karsten Knechtel (Prozess Consulting München) were given the honorary membership of the association.
New HOPE Community Health Worker
HOPE employed in May 6 new HOPE community health worker which brings the total number of employees to 17. HOPE continues to grow but will limit itself to the Western Cape  
Provincial Administration
HOPE and the Provincial Administration hold talks to agree about the role HOPE will play in the roll out plans of the Government. It was also agreed that the first phase of a pilot project regarding Traditional Healer will go ahead
