An organ concert at the "Frauenkirche" in Dresden and a party at the "Glaeserne Manufaktur" under the patronage of the Premier of Saxonia, Mr. Milbrad brought more than 1000 people together from all over Germany to celebrate and donate towards HOPE Cape Town. The SA Ambassador, Mr. Chikane, graced the event with his presence and half a million Rand have been raised for the project. Thank you Saxonia Systems Dresden for this wonderful proof, that companies can make a difference!!! (11/06)

Partnership Bavaria- Western Province

A third HOPE Community Health Worker post was advertised in Delft after the opening of a second clinic in this fast growing area.
Budget Committee
A delegation of the Budget Portfolio Committee of the German Bundestag visited Cape Town and the HOPE Cape Town project.(07/06)
Tygerberg Campus
HOPE Cape Town will open a second office at the Tygerberg Campus of the University of Stellenbosch to support the cooperation in the fields of outreach, research and job creation. (07/06)
Faculty of Health
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Dean van der Merwe and Chairperson Hippler to foster relationships between HOPE Cape Town and the Department of Health Sciences of the University of Stellenbosch.(05/06)
